1963 to 1998, Tempo owned a division of the company called “Tempo
Music Publications, Inc.”, a music publisher to the church market.
All copyrights with that entity were sold to the Lorenz Corporation
(800.444.1144 or www.lorenz.com )
in January, 1998. These include the popular “Worship Him”
series of praise & worship songbooks. The Rejoice Hymnal was published
by Tempo from 1995 to 2001, but is now out of print.

The
American Institute of Musicology was sold to A-R Editions in the summer

Sacred
Music News & Review
Tempo
acquired the Sacred Music News & Review newsletter in October,
1997 and published it through September, 2001. At that time, publication
