Tip:
Movement and the human eye.
The
issue:
You want
to illustrate and highlight song lyrics on the screens with video.
Solution:
Use video loop backgrounds in MediaShout. In version 3 and
later, you can use a different loop behind each verse or chorus. In
version 2.5, the loop you select will go behind all verses of a song.
 |
Right-click
on a lyric cue to select its Properties tab. Select the Verse, Chorus
or Bridge from the picklist in the center of the dialog. Now click
the "Background" tab. |
| Click the button beside the Picture
field. |
 |
 |
Click
the "Video File" button and select a looped background.
The one we will use in this illustration is from WorshipFilms,
an excellent source of high quality worship loops. |
"Loop"
should be selected as the default play action.
You
should either use the Outline text effect or the Drop Shadow text
effect with a pretty heavy value in order to knock out the text
over a "busy" video for best visibility and legibility.
Note
that you can use just a segment of a video as the loop by selecting
"In" and "Out" timing points.
You
can also set any point in the video as the thumbnail that shows
on the screen to the technician. |
 |
This video
loop would visually illustrate the message of the hymn text or a song's
lyrics.
